Job Summary

Mercure is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are presented in a clean and appealing manner.
    • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Health and Safety
    • Adhere to all health and safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Report any hazards or incidents to management immediately.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the food and beverage department.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Fluent English language skills.
    • Previous experience in a food and beverage role is an asset.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
