Job Title: Head of Operations

Job Summary:

Tate Recruitment is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead the Client Services function for a bespoke wealth management firm in Bishop's Stortford. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services operations, with a focus on building and operating effective processes and procedures to deliver high-quality client service and administrative support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational processes and procedures to support client onboarding, case management, and data integrity.
  • Manage and mentor a team of client services and operations staff, including allocating work and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Liaise with key providers to monitor and improve service levels and efficiency.
  • Develop and monitor operational metrics to drive performance and improvement.
  • Contribute to projects and change management initiatives, providing subject matter expertise and evaluating new solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar financial services role, with a strong understanding of the wealth management marketplace.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, including team recruitment, training, and development.
  • Expert knowledge of Intelliflo Office and its features, capabilities, and best practice usage.
  • First-class organisation, prioritisation, and implementation skills, with a keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
