Senior Research Fellow in Advanced Materials and Interfaces

About the Role
The position is based in a leading research institution, where the post holder will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with experts in various fields. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and utilizing advanced experimental facilities and equipment to drive research in interfacial engineering and nanoengineered systems.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of experimental and computational techniques used in research on advanced materials and interfaces.
- Mentoring and supervising students and postgraduate researchers in accordance with institutional guidelines.
- Initiating, participating, and leading public engagement and patient involvement activities.
- Working flexible hours to accommodate clinical measurements and other research requirements.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in at least two areas, such as thermofluidics, advanced manufacturing, materials science, nanoengineered surfaces, healthcare sensors, and data science. The post holder will also need to be comfortable working in a dynamic and diverse research environment, engaging with stakeholders and collaborating with multiple research groups and centers.
