Position Overview:
This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving organization in the precious metals recycling industry. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts receivable ledger
- Oversee the accounts payable ledger
- Organize and process purchase orders
- Conduct bank reconciliations across multiple currencies
- Handle petty cash transactions
- Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Assist in coordinating the monthly supplier payment run
- Perform credit control via telephone and email
- Process expense claims
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage 50 or Navision

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with Sage 200 or Sage 50
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to resolve queries in a professional manner with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Skills to manage assignments efficiently and effectively
- Good educational background
