Job Title: Urban Drainage Modeller

We are seeking a skilled Urban Drainage Modeller to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work on significant projects and contribute to the development of cutting-edge digital services for clients.

Job Summary:

The Urban Drainage Modeller will be responsible for working on feasibility studies, using computer analysis to support flooding and environmental improvement projects, site visits, and liaison with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and other professional bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct feasibility studies and use computer analysis to support flooding and environmental improvement projects
  • Work on site visits and liaise with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and other professional bodies
  • Develop cutting-edge digital services for clients
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for urban drainage management
Requirements:
  • B.Sc./B.Eng./M.Eng. degree level in geography, GIS, Science, engineering-related subject, or equivalent
  • Experience/awareness of urban drainage modelling within InfoWorks ICM (or CS), GIS packages such as ARC or MapInfo, and civil engineering
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Hydraulic modelling - preferably Microdrainage and/or Civils 3D
  • Working knowledge of the CDM Regulations
  • Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects on time and to budget
