About the Role

Kemsley Paper Mill is seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of routine E&I preventative maintenance in your area.

You will work closely with colleagues across engineering departments and disciplines to identify and resolve complex problems. Your expertise in fault-finding skills and tools will be essential in diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.

The planning aspect of this role requires proactive collaboration with resources within your team and other engineering departments to produce and implement work plan packs and schedules. This will ensure maximum efficiency of our assets and contribute to a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times, complying with company safety procedures and legislation.
  • Comply with the site's Environmental Management System to reduce potential hazards and ensure efficient use of materials.
  • Participate in company investigations, including root cause analysis, risk assessments, and developing maintenance procedures as required.
  • Contribute to the DS Smith Way Processes (Lean) for Operational Excellence.
