Civils Package Lead Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Civils Package Lead to join our team at First Recruitment Group - IT. As a Civils Package Lead, you will be responsible for leading the civils workpackage and ensuring its successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Responsible for managing the civils workpackage, including planning, coordinating, and controlling resources to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the civils workpackage, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, including suppliers, internal departments, and external consultants.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets the required standards, including health and safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Cost Management: Manage the civils package budget, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on costs to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Procurement: Assist with the development of the package procurement strategy, work closely with the procurement team, and ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Programme Management: Assist with the development of the master integrated programme, ensure that it is kept up to date, and on track for the relevant package.
- Scope Changes & Variations: Responsible for managing any variations to the package contract, identifying and highlighting any scope changes to the Project Manager, and following relevant variation and scope change processes.
Requirements:
- Education: Architecture/Civils/Structural engineering qualification(s), AMP or similar Project Management qualification(s), and NEBOSH or H&S qualification(s).
- Skills: Health & Safety and CDM Regulations 2017, Project Management, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Scope Change experience, and Design Team Coordination.
- Experience: Experience in the Distilling / Brewing Industry and ability to influence 3rd party design to meet client requirements.
