Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Off-Site MEP and Plantroom Assembly Team in Banbridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly and integration of mechanical systems within prefabricated MEP modules and plantrooms.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the assembly of mechanical systems within MEP modules and plantrooms.
- Provide technical guidance to the assembly team and ensure the correct installation of mechanical equipment.
- Conduct inspections of mechanical components during and after assembly, ensuring compliance with quality and project specifications.
- Perform dimensional checks, verify proper alignment, and inspect the placement of mechanical components in both MEP modules and plantrooms.
- Inspect materials and components, ensuring that all mechanical systems meet quality and project specifications.
- Use inspection tools to document results and log any issues or discrepancies.
- Assist with testing and validation of mechanical systems and complete pre-commissioning checks.
- Prepare test reports and ensure accurate documentation.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in MEP systems and plantroom design or modular construction.
- Hands-on experience with the assembly and installation of mechanical systems such as piping, pumps, heat exchangers, and HVAC components in both plantrooms and MEP modules.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Relevant professional certifications in mechanical engineering (e.g., HVAC systems, piping, plantroom equipment).
- Relevant safety certifications are an advantage.
