Patient Admissions Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Admissions Coordinator to join our Theatre team at the Royal South Hants hospital, Southampton.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure effective pre-operative case management, co-ordination, and administration tasks leading up to and including the day of surgery.
- Perform calls to patients 72 hours before they are due for surgery to confirm their readiness and preparedness.
- Prepare clinical files 72-48 hours in advance to prevent delays and ensure all necessary information is available.
- Collate pathology and radiology reports, and maintain accurate medical files.
- Communicate effectively with Theatre staff, Consultants, Nurses, and other administration staff to ensure seamless patient care.
