Tradewind Recruitment is currently on the lookout for a dedicated and organized Level 2 Primary Teaching Assistant for a well-regarded educational institution.

This position is a long-term temporary role, where you will be engaged full-time, supporting children with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to children in the reception class with various SEN needs.
  • Implementing effective behavior management strategies.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of the National Curriculum to enhance learning experiences.
  • Supporting children with autism and challenging behaviors through tailored approaches.

Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and phonics.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN, including autism and using PECS.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, and professional reference checks will be conducted.
