About the Role

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled Electrical Lifting Equipment Engineer to join their mobile fitter team. As a national leader in providing construction plant and lifting equipment services, our client is renowned for their commitment to quality and safety, offering comprehensive solutions to their diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Conduct thorough repairs and maintenance on various types of lifting equipment, including Chain Slings, Electrical Chain Hoists, Pull Lifts, Genies, Tirfors, and Hydraulic Jacking Equipment.
  • Inspection and Testing: Perform regular inspections and testing of lifting equipment in accordance with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and other relevant regulations.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Requirements for Success
  • Qualifications: Must hold a LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) Lifting Equipment General Diploma or equivalent as a minimum qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in repairing and inspecting lifting equipment.
  • Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence is essential for travel to client sites and operational needs.
