Role Overview

The Building Services Electrical Engineer plays a crucial role in the successful execution of projects, ensuring that all aspects of electrical engineering are addressed with precision and expertise.


Key Responsibilities
  • Team Collaboration: Works closely with engineering teams and project stakeholders to ensure that client deliverables are met with the highest standards of quality and timeliness.
  • Documentation Management: Prepares and organizes specifications, drawings, and contractual documents, ensuring adherence to technical quality and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Project Management: Oversees various elements and components of projects from initial design through to completion, executing tasks related to Building Services Engineering while adhering to budgetary and scheduling constraints.
  • Design Expertise: Delivers comprehensive Electrical Building Services Engineering designs for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

A degree in Electrical Building Services Engineering or a comparable qualification, along with significant relevant experience, is essential.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Interdisciplinary Insight: Familiarity with related fields such as acoustics, fire safety engineering, and computer modeling in the context of building design.
  • Software Proficiency: Competence in utilizing software tools including AutoCAD, REVIT, Navisworks, IES, Hevacomp, CFD software, and Microsoft Office.
