Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact between Arla Foods Management and our dairy farmer members.
- Develop and implement operational plans to drive dairy farming best practice and improve milk quality.
- Collaborate with our cooperative members and direct suppliers to achieve high standards of milk quality and supply.
- Provide technical and commercial support to our dairy farmers, including guidance on Red Tractor Assurance - Dairy Scheme (RTA DS) and ArlaGrden quality assurance standards.
- Support the development and execution of our sustainability agenda, including initiatives to improve farm efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
- Manage relationships with our dairy farmer members, including arranging meetings and providing secretariat services for district council and district meetings.
- Contribute to the development of our added milk concepts and handle milk quality and brand risk issues with farmers.
- Strong experience working in agriculture, with a proven track record of managing key relationships across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work flexibly regarding location and hours of work.
- Ability to provide a full out-of-hours service on a rota basis.
- Strong technical and commercial skills, acquired across a wide range of demanding roles within the agricultural industry.
