We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Primary Teacher to cover PPA across five classes in a reputable Primary School located in Preston. The successful applicant will work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, covering Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4, and Y5. Additionally, they will teach a small group of pupils in Y5, focusing on closing gaps in learning in Maths.
About the SchoolThis is a well-respected and over-subscribed Primary School located in the outskirts of Chorley. The Head Teacher is well-known within the local community, and staff turnover is very low. This role has arisen due to the permanent postholder relocating out of the area, making it a potential temp-perm opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Teach PPA across five classes, covering Y1 to Y5
- Teach a small group of pupils in Y5, focusing on Maths
- Work collaboratively with the school team to ensure a smooth transition
