About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support to parents who have had children removed from their care. This will involve working closely with the Family Support Plus Team to help parents reflect on their life experiences and how these have impacted their ability to safely and adequately care for their children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support parents to explore the reasons their children were removed from their care.
- Help break the cycle of successive removals of their children.
- Work with parents to develop strategies to improve their parenting skills and ability to care for their children.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support plan is in place for each family.
