Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Conrad London St James. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of Public Area Attendants and Housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of public areas and guest rooms to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Department to ensure that guest requirements are met and hotel policies are adhered to.
  • Assist the Housekeeper Manager in the daily checking of designated staff areas and public areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Attend meetings and contribute new ideas to the overall success of the operation.
  • Inspire the team to achieve high standards of work and guest care.

Requirements:

  • Housekeeping experience in the hotel/leisure/retail sector in a supervisory capacity.
  • Available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
