We are seeking an experienced and qualified Team Leader to join our team in a Children's Residential Home. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the home, managing staff, and providing support to young people.
Main Responsibilities:
- Shift Planning: Plan and coordinate shifts with Residential Support Workers to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure a safe environment for young people and staff.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with the team regarding daily plans and updates.
- Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reports using our paperless systems and tools.
- Care Planning: Review and update care plans for young people, ensuring their needs are met.
Requirements:
- Positive Parenting: Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for young people.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with young people, staff, and external agencies.
- Legislative Knowledge: Have a sound working knowledge of current legislation, including the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
- Driving License: Hold a full manual driving license.
- Qualifications: Possess a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
