Job Description

Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Support Specialist to join our North Customer Centric Field Support Team in the UK. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering electro-mechanical hardware support, technical training, and customer upskilling to ensure seamless delivery and uptime of our service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical success in the delivery of our service offering for our customers, putting the customers at the centre of what we do and working with other technical managers.

  • Champion and uphold technical excellence in the execution of technical activities across systems, processes, data, capability, and competence.

  • Ensure that we support our customers, react to customer and market demands, and continuously strive to achieve technical excellence, including continuous improvement and change as necessary.

  • Model creative leadership behaviors and build effective cross-functional/cross-regional collaboration to multiply your impact.

Requirements:

  • Ideally holding a degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or possessing demonstrable experience at the HNC/HND level, you boast a comprehensive understanding of the IVD industry and a track record of implementing top-tier support.

  • Equipped to provide effective support for pathology laboratory solutions, you are driven by surpassing customer expectations and imparting knowledge.

  • As a self-motivated individual, you excel in troubleshooting, taking ownership, and exhibiting pride in your work. You thrive as a change implementer, employing a probing approach to issues, driving innovation, and nurturing the growth of others through training, coaching, and mentoring.

  • Candidates must be willing to travel to various locations in the UK.
