Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Occupational Therapist to join our team at Exemplar Health Care. As a Regional Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, focusing on dementia care and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with dementia, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify residents' strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide education and training to staff on dementia care and management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care pathways and policies.

Requirements:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a strong background in dementia care.
  • Experience working in a multi-site setting, with a focus on rehabilitation and care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to travel between sites, with a valid driver's license (if applicable).
