Financial Director

Glympton Park Estate is seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to join their team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for managing the estate's financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
About Glympton Park Estate
Glympton Park Estate is a privately owned residential, agricultural, woodland, and sporting estate based in West Oxfordshire. The estate employs around 45 permanent staff and manages 3,300 acres. As a Financial Director, you will work closely with the Estate Manager to provide day-to-day executive management of the estate on behalf of the owner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the estate's financial reporting to the UK board of directors, boards of offshore parent and associated companies, and the owner's private office.
- Develop and implement effective financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Lead a small team of finance professionals and provide guidance on financial matters.
- Act as Company Secretary and ensure the highest standards of corporate governance.
- Work closely with the Estate Manager to provide day-to-day executive management of the estate.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with previous experience in a senior financial role within a small to medium-sized entity.
- Strong people management skills and excellent Excel and financial modelling experience.
- Exposure to HR and IT management is desirable.
