Rail Gourmet is on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Onboard Service Host for TransPennine Express (TPE) at York Station.
Employment Type : Full Time (40 hours) & Part Time (weekends only).
Work Schedule : Rotating shifts between 6 am and 9 pm, including some weekends.
Compensation: £ 12.00 per hour plus commission
We are a leading provider of catering and onboard services within the British Railway sector. With over 40 service centres across the nation and a workforce exceeding 1000 employees in the UK, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service consistently.
No prior experience is necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
AS AN ONBOARD SERVICE HOST YOU WILL:
Deliver 'at seat trolley service' on TPE trains, ensuring exemplary customer service, managing inventory, and processing transactions. Travel on designated trains, assisting passengers, achieving sales objectives independently, and fulfilling contractual requirements. Maintain accurate records of inventory and transactions, comply with hygiene and safety protocols, and support management initiatives. Execute Service Centre responsibilities as directed, engaging with passengers, providing information, and addressing diverse needs while offering accurate details on services, ticketing, platforms, and potential disruptions. You can claim up to 50 rover tickets for the TPE network for family and friends.REQUIREMENTS FOR ONBOARD SERVICE HOST:
Due to certain responsibilities within the Onboard Service Host role, applicants must be 18 years of age or older to perform specific tasks or work certain shifts. Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including long hours and varying shifts.WHY WORK WITH US?
