About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analysis Manager to join our team at JP Morgan Chase Bank, National Association. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business initiatives and leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Requirements Definition: Develop and articulate business requirements for the development and commercialization of new product capabilities.
  • Process Flow Documentation: Document process flows, including customer interactions and operational interventions.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather functional and non-functional requirements, including product features, operational requirements, regulatory and compliance requirements, user interface, client reporting, sanctions, resiliency, and scalability.
  • Impact Analysis: Perform impact analysis for business initiatives to determine key business groups that will require technical or operational process changes.
  • Platform Architecture: Partner with product and technology partners to define globally consistent platform architecture.
  • Gaps Analysis: Conduct gaps analysis to determine the degree of change emerging from business initiatives.
  • Testing Strategy: Work with the user acceptance testing team to determine the testing strategy and ensure thorough testing of all capabilities.
  • Project Tracking: Track the overall progress of an initiative and identify any possible red flags, collaborating with various stakeholders for resolution of issues to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Operations Readiness: Drive operations readiness to support new product rollouts by ensuring documentation of process flows, operational procedures, training, user entitlements, clearly defined roles and responsibilities, and establishing escalation matrices.
  • Risk Mitigation: Anticipate internal and external factors impacting the global payment strategy and implement plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Defect Analysis: Perform defect analysis, prioritization, and exploration of alternative solutions.
Requirements
  • Commercial Payments Knowledge: Strong commercial payments knowledge covering high-value SWIFT and clearing flows.
  • Banking Experience: Previous experience in banking/financial services.
  • Agile Methodology: Well-versed in Agile methodology and experience in driving projects under this framework.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinker with ability to define future-state business models and drive execution to that effect.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task and manage and deliver competing priorities.
  • Time Management: Self-motivated, tenacious, with excellent time management/prioritization skills.
  • Executive-Level Content: Experience in designing, delivering, and presenting executive-level content.
