Community Health Nurse

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Health Visitor to join our team in Rhyl, North Wales. As a key member of our universal Health Visiting service, you will play a vital role in improving the health and wellbeing of families and children in the community.
Main Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of families and children, providing professional support and guidance to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent health inequalities.
- Lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Wales Programme, working closely with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to public health.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for families and children, with a focus on safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children.
- Coordinate and delegate work within a skilled mix team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or equivalent in Health Visiting, with current NMC registration.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
- A strong understanding of public health principles and practices, with experience of working in a community setting.
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but not essential.
