Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at East and North Herts NHS Trust. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients who require critical care services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the care of critically ill patients, including those who are ventilated, haemofiltered, and cardiovascularly compromised.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Provide education and training to junior staff members to enhance their critical care skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- RGN qualification and willingness to complete a Diploma/ Degree in Critical Care Nursing.
- Post-basic course ENB 124/ 100 / 920 and ENB 998 / City and Guilds 7307.
- Evidence of continuing education and professional development.
- Previous experience in a critical care environment, including shift leadership and mentorship training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
