Job Description

The Job Mission

As a key member of our Civil Engineering Team, the Pool-Liner-Tank (PLT) Design Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing critical infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Producing documents for input data, justifications, and substantiation for steel-lined structures.
  2. Coordinating with stakeholders, including clients, designers, and contractors, during the design phase.
  3. Delivering final design and construction documents to clients, supporting technical discussions.
  4. Managing design configuration, including design changes and margin management.
  5. Contributing to CDM reviews and maintaining the Design Risk Register.
  6. Liaising with site-based engineering teams to facilitate construction.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  2. Experience in nuclear civil work or complex structures.
  3. Strong knowledge in the design of concrete structures.
  4. Ability to perform engineering calculations using first principles.
  5. Experience on large complex projects.
