Cocktail Service Specialist
The main objective of this position is to ensure the efficient operation of the cocktail service area; maintaining up-to-date inventory, presenting the space attractively, and delivering exceptional service to guests. You will also assist the broader Food and Beverage Team, providing support in various dining areas as needed. Collaboration with the F&B Managers in crafting seasonal cocktail offerings and bar promotions will be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in the bar and surrounding areas.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system effectively. Manage signed bills and transfers between dining areas.
- Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to both resident and non-resident guests.
- Possess a solid understanding of Licensing Laws, including the rights of refusal.
- Maintain vigilant oversight of costs and revenue within the department.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of mixed drinks and cocktails.
- Actively promote the hotel’s image through exceptional service.
Key Attributes for Cocktail Service Specialist
- Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation and UK Licensing regulations; holding a personal license is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in a hotel bar with high service expectations is preferred.
- Excellent command of the English language and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Presentable appearance and professional demeanor.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service at every opportunity.
