Job Summary:
We Are Workforce Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks, as well as installation work on machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Install and commission new machinery and equipment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Perform general welding and fabrication tasks, including cutting and shaping metal.
- Conduct basic electrical fault finding and repair, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Operate oxygen and acetylene burning equipment, following all safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Apprentice-trained or time-served experience in a maintenance role.
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance.
- Previous heavy industrial work experience, preferably in a maintenance role.
- Experience working with slitting and decoling machinery is highly desirable.
- Basic electrical qualifications, including knowledge of electrical circuits and systems.
- Valid driving license, with a clean driving record.
