Position Overview:

Digital Waffle is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS to meet business requirements.
  2. Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
  3. Manage and optimize microservices architecture for performance and reliability.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  5. Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  6. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize system architecture for maximum efficiency.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in a cloud environment, with a strong focus on AWS.
  2. Expertise in microservices architecture and Spring framework.
  3. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
  4. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  5. Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  6. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
  7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
