Job Description

A leading corporate law firm with offices across Cheshire and Merseyside is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to head up their highly regarded Corporate department.

About the Role

This is a senior position within the firm, requiring a Corporate Lawyer with a strong track record of success in corporate transactions, commercial contracts, management buy-ins/outs, joint venture agreements, restructuring, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Corporate team and contribute to the firm's business development activities
  • Work closely with key clients to deliver high-quality corporate work
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the Corporate department
  • Collaborate with the management board to drive the firm's corporate law practice forward
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in corporate law, with a minimum of 10 years' PQE
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A proven track record of success in corporate transactions and commercial contracts
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
