About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing long-term conditions, general treatment room duties, wound management, and other clinical tasks.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage long-term conditions, including diabetes, COPD, and asthma
  • General treatment room duties, including phlebotomy and ECG recording
  • Wound management and dressing
  • Women's health, including cervical screening and vaccinations
  • Child health and travel immunisations

We are a small, rural practice located in Shipdham, Norfolk, serving a population of 4,800 patients. We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, with a focus on high-quality patient care.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Registered nurse qualification
  • Nursing degree
  • Current NMC registration with an active PIN
  • Fundamentals of Practice Nursing course or equivalent experience
  • Competence in managing long-term conditions, including asthma and COPD
