Tutor (Maths and English Level 3 and Level 4) Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor (Maths and English Level 3 and Level 4) to join our school community in Sheffield. As a Tutor (Maths and English Level 3 and Level 4), you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning journeys and making a lasting impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and tailored lessons in Maths and English at Level 3 and Level 4.
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals and build their confidence.
  • Provide feedback and track students' progress to ensure they are meeting learning objectives.
  • Work closely with school staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to teach Maths and English at Level 3 and Level 4.
  • Previous experience as a tutor or teacher is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for education.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and encourage a love for learning.
  • Availability to work part-time, with flexibility to fit around school hours.
  • Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
