Position Summary:

As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a proficient engineering team, ensuring they remain focused, inspired, and on course to deliver significant software solutions. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with product managers and developers, fostering a culture of creativity, and supervising the development of essential tools for the Ethereum framework.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee a team of engineers, ensuring effective project delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Work in partnership with product managers and stakeholders to create and launch high-quality, open-source tools.
  • Encourage a collaborative and inclusive team atmosphere that promotes teamwork and ongoing enhancement.
  • Manage the development lifecycle to guarantee timely delivery of scalable and robust solutions.
  • Offer mentorship and professional growth opportunities to team members.
  • Participate in strategic planning and technical execution aligned with the organization's mission.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Engineering Manager or in a comparable leadership position, preferably within the blockchain or open-source software domains, though not mandatory.
  • Solid foundation in software development with practical experience in programming and system architecture.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, capable of guiding and motivating a diverse team.
  • Enthusiasm for open-source development and community engagement.
