Bodyshop Estimator Opportunity


Stephen James BMW is seeking an experienced and skilled Bodyshop Estimator to join our purpose-built Accident Repair Centre.


This role offers a great opportunity to develop your career with a leading brand in the automotive industry.


Your Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide a courteous and efficient estimating and reception service for the Bodyshop department.
  • Assess Bodyshop, SMART Repairs, and extended warranties to customers.
  • Record a list of damages to customers' vehicles.
  • Liaise and negotiate repair approvals with insurance engineers and customers.
  • Complete job packs and prepare invoices in an accurate and timely manner.

Your Profile:



  • Excellent communication skills to communicate credibly with customers.
  • Ability to develop rapport and trust with customers and resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably.
  • High standards, self-motivation, and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Proven experience working in a similar role in a busy Bodyshop centre, preferably with Audatex accreditation.
  • Valid clean UK Driving Licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
