Job Summary
We're seeking a seasoned Senior Security Manager to join our team. As a Senior Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing, guiding, and elevating our Security Operations and Cyber Risk team. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and mentor a team of security engineers with a focus on security operations, threat hunting, and risk management.
- Drive company and project goals, prioritize resources, and ensure timely delivery. Implement effective security processes, technology, and policies for sustained growth.
- Represent Funding Circle Security and management at industry events and help grow our brand within the community.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and PCI and their correct application to businesses.
- Work with technical and business stakeholders to translate security needs to business needs, taking a pragmatic approach to security and risk, including assisting/leading 3rd party security audits & due diligence.
- Implement security awareness programs across the business and have direct experience of vendor risk management.
- Have proficient technical security understanding of Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure as well as data engineering tools and concepts and the following tooling platforms - CSPM, CIEM, and DSPM.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with a modern security stack, including hands-on experience of SIEM & SOAR technologies, EDR & CASB solutions.
- Confidence in working with both technical and business stakeholders to translate security needs to business needs.
- Professional experience in attack surface management, security threat hunting, and incident response.
- Direct experience of vendor risk management.
- Proficient technical security understanding of Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure as well as data engineering tools and concepts and the following tooling platforms - CSPM, CIEM, and DSPM.
