The successful candidate will collaborate closely with both the IT and Finance departments to formulate budgets, monitor spending, and ensure that financial governance is upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively assess risks and opportunities within the OPEX budget
  • Engage with Department Managers and the Intercompany Finance Team
  • Prepare and evaluate expense forecasts
  • Analyze monthly actuals against planned budgets and forecasts
  • Oversee costs across various budget categories
  • Report on discrepancies and develop reforecasting models
  • Assist in Governance submissions
  • Provide reports on actuals compared to plans and staffing expenses
  • Support the development of annual and five-year strategic plans
  • Manage the Fixed Asset register
  • Conduct compliance reporting
  • Understand the methodology for system allocations
  • Submit monthly and quarterly reports with variance analysis
  • Monitor headcount and supplier invoices
  • Verify supplier invoices and scrutinize OPEX reporting
  • Create process documentation and training materials for department managers
  • Enhance forecasting and planning precision
  • Collaborate with Development and Finance teams
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within the expense framework

Experience:

  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Analytical skills and process evaluation
  • Proficient in systems and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to meet stringent deadlines
  • Experience in IT Finance FP&A
