About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Medical Communications team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading medical communication projects from conception to delivery, working closely with our pharmaceutical clients to develop and implement effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead medical communication projects, including live webinars, recorded videos, infographics, live and hybrid meetings, and digital omnichannel projects.
  • Work closely with our scientific team to conduct speaker briefings and slide deck submissions, ensuring timely approval and delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and reach optimal HCP targets for their programs.
  • Manage relationships with third-party suppliers to create required resources.
  • Oversee approval of resources through approval systems such as Veeva.
  • Work with external agencies to create AV or digital solutions for live and digital work.
  • Manage speakers/KOLs across various scientific areas.
  • Manage project onsite via live event or digital solution.
  • Collaborate with internal team members on marketing and registration of events.
  • Work with external agencies and scientific teams to create post-event assets, including on-demand video, write-ups, and CPD learning modules.
  • Ensure good understanding of project financials, tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Mentor junior team members as required.
Requirements
  • Medical communications agency experience or pharmaceutical company experience.
  • Previous project/account management experience or marketing/sales experience in a similar sector.
  • Ability to work closely with digital agencies/suppliers and deliver digital marketing/communication resources.
  • Understanding of pharma product direction and HCP learning needs.
  • Ability to work within extremely tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communicator with team and client.
  • Ability to find solutions when faced with challenges.
  • Some travel and overnight stays expected.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
