Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Argon Engineering Limited. As an Electrical Bias Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance on a wide range of machines and equipment to ensure continuous and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Rapidly respond to and resolve emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Carry out all maintenance activities safely and accurately, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives, embracing new technologies and methodologies to enhance production processes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Must be time-served or hold an HNC or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline. Ideally, candidates should also have 17th or 18th Edition certification.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of maintenance experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, with a preference for experience in packaging or FMCG machinery.
  • Skills: A systematic approach to problem-solving, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to build strong relationships with team members, suppliers, and contractors.
