Macklin Care Homes is seeking a dedicated Relief Nursing Professional to become part of our compassionate and progressive team at Arlington Nursing Home. This essential position involves collaborating with fellow team members to provide outstanding care to our cherished residents.
As a respected member of our nursing staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high standards of care in alignment with Company policies, NMC guidelines, RQIA standards, and HSCT regulations.
Your responsibilities will include safeguarding the health and welfare of residents by fostering a secure and nurturing environment that enhances their overall quality of life. Duties will encompass developing personalized care plans, engaging with multi-disciplinary teams, exercising your clinical judgment for decision-making, administering medications, maintaining accurate resident documentation, and offering professional guidance to care personnel.
Essential Qualifications: RGN/RMN Certification NMC Registration Current PREPP, Primary Nursing, Care Planning, and The Patients Charter Experience with elderly care Ability to adhere to scheduled hours, with flexibility to accommodate organizational needs Good General Health (medically fit) Proficient in written and spoken English and possess a valid work permit
Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in a comparable role Geriatric care experience in a nursing home environment Leadership skills for managing a care team
