Job Title: Despatch Operative

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Despatch Operative to join our team at Northside Graphics Limited. As a key member of our Despatch Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient dispatch of digital print products to our customers.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in print operations, with experience in packing and dispatching digital print products. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, meeting client deadlines, and working collaboratively with our team to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pack and dispatch digital print products to exact specifications, meeting client deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Carry out work according to Northside procedures and using in-house computerised administration systems.
  • Maintain correct documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Clean and maintain working area and equipment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Undertake all training and development activities as required, to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain and build good internal relationships, communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Identify and act on improvement suggestions, implementing best practices in communication and quality standards.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with the company's strive for continuous improvement.
  • Undertake such other duties, e.g. finishing, as may be required commensurate with your position.
Requirements
  • Minimum of GCSE at C grade or above in Mathematics and English Language or equivalent.
  • Desirable: 2 years experience in a print environment or 1 year experience in a digital print environment.
