We're seeking a skilled Transport Operator to join our team at XPO, a leading provider of world-class logistics solutions. As a Transport Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely execution of our daily transport plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch and track daily loads/routes, ensuring proactive communication with customers and mitigating any risk of failures.
- Debrief drivers, utilizing our Track & Trace IT solution to optimize operational decisions.
- Dispatch trunks and full truck loads on our Transport Management System, ensuring haulier partners are logged into our Track & Trace app.
- Collaborate with the 3PL warehouse team to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate key information to management and hand over to other shifts to ensure a smooth transition.
- Ensure adherence to all process and procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing situations.
- Transport Management System experience, preferably with SHARP.
- Proficiency in using Track & Trace to support operational decisions.
- Knowledge of transport compliance and regulation.
