We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Cardiologist to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a special interest in heart failure and cardiac imaging, with a strong background in cardiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake clinical duties associated with heart failure, including inherited conditions clinic and cardiac imaging
- Contribute to the development and implementation of cardiac imaging services
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of clinical strategies
- Undertake administrative duties associated with the running of clinical work
- Take a full part in professional activities required for revalidation, including clinical audit
Requirements:
- CCT in cardiology or equivalent qualification
- Experience in heart failure and cardiac imaging
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
