Corporate Solicitor Job Description

Pepperells Ltd is a dynamic and ambitious law firm with a strong presence in various locations. We are seeking a skilled Corporate Solicitor to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our Commercial department.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with experience in mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, and business sales. They will be responsible for advising clients on corporate matters, drafting legal documents, and communicating effectively with clients and opposing solicitors.

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, adaptable, and flexible individual who can work comfortably in a fast-paced environment. They will have exceptional drafting skills, extensive knowledge of the corporate sector, and the ability to develop and implement legal and commercially viable strategies.

The Corporate Solicitor will be responsible for:

  1. Providing high-quality legal advice to clients
  2. Drafting legal documents and contracts
  3. Communicating effectively with clients and opposing solicitors
  4. Representing clients in court (if necessary)
  5. Supervising trainee solicitors and paralegals
  6. Managing calls from clients
  7. Reporting to the Head of the Commercial Department

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of post-qualified experience and a strong understanding of corporate law. They will be proactive, self-motivated, and have excellent time management and organisation skills.

Pepperells Ltd offers a comprehensive benefits package, including company events and work-from-home options. The salary range is £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year, and the working hours are 8 hours per day with flexitime.
