Job Title: AWS Platform Engineer

At Search5point0, we are seeking an experienced AWS Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities:
  1. Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
  2. Automated Deployment Processes: Develop and maintain automated deployment processes to streamline provisioning, scaling, and management of cloud resources.
  3. High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Architect and implement solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection on GCP.
  4. Cost, Performance, and Security Optimisation: Drive initiatives to optimise cost, performance, and security of cloud resources.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering or cloud infrastructure, with at least 3 years focused on Google Cloud Platform.
  2. Infrastructure as Code Tools: Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
  3. Networking and Security: Excellent understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
