Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Windows C++ Engineer to join our dedicated R&D teams in Cambridge. As a senior engineer within the Windows cSensor team, you will be focused on producing software designed to be deployed directly on to customer devices to improve Darktrace's security coverage of devices outside the corporate network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to rapid prototyping of new and innovative ideas to further improve Darktrace's services and offerings.
  • Improve on core software modules written in C++.
  • Work with various component technologies and applications (docker, terraform).

Innovation is of paramount importance, and creativity in approach is encouraged as much as traditional project-based development. This is a hybrid role, and the expectation would be to work at least 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.

Requirements
  • Experience with writing and deploying software on devices using the Windows operating system.
  • Experience working as a senior member of a small team.
  • Experience developing kernel drivers.
  • Understanding of Endpoint Detection Systems.
