Sustainability Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary consultancy providing built environment and specialist services to clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out energy modeling tasks using IES-VE software, including overheating assessments and operational energy analysis.
  • Produce SBEM Part L compliance calculations and reports.
  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies and solutions to help clients achieve Net Zero and ESG objectives.
  • Provide support to clients to enhance their understanding of UK building regulations, such as Part L and Part O.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in IES-VE software for operational energy analysis and overheating assessments.
  • Desirable: Level 4 NDEA qualification and experience delivering SBEM assessments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
