We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Catering team as a Catering Team Member. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive and cost-effective catering service to patients, staff, and visitors.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in designated work areas, adhering to documented cleaning schedules and ad hoc duties as requested by your duty supervisor.
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene, kitchen, and personal practices are maintained at all times.
  • Process utensils and crockery using a mechanical dishwasher, adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Operate heavy-duty floor cleaning equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Prepare and cook food items, such as hot sandwiches, hot snacks, and chips, in a food-safe manner.
  • Record food temperatures and fridge/freezer temperatures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Monitor fridges/chilled units and ensure food is within the use-by date.
  • Report any faults, accidents, or adverse incidents to your duty supervisor.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Replenish and merchandise all food display units, maintaining accurate records.
  • Adhere to all Trust Policies and procedures at all times.
