We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Physiotherapist to join our team in the Orthopaedics department at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic unit, providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with a range of orthopaedic conditions. As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for a varied caseload, including spinal cord injured patients and complex multi-trauma cases.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care to patients. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the education and training of junior staff and students.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a significant clinical caseload, including spinal cord injured patients and complex multi-trauma cases.
- Supervise and appraise rotational staff and students.
- Contribute to the in-service training programme and participate in specific orthopaedic senior in-service training.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
We are looking for a Physiotherapist with experience working in in-patient orthopaedics, who has completed Band 5 physiotherapy rotations and has a strong knowledge of common orthopaedic conditions. You should be a member of the Orthopaedic interest group and have evidence of working with spinal cord injury patients.
You will need to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and be willing to undergo regular training and development opportunities.
