We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety and Environmental Legislative Graduate Consultant to join our team at BMT Group. As a key member of our Safety and Environmental discipline, you will play a crucial role in delivering safety and environmental legislative projects, enhancing our capabilities in relation to safety and environmental legislation within the Defence sector and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of legislative projects to schedule and budget, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues on business development activities, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with clients and end users.
- Liaise with clients and end users on safety and environmental legislative compliance issues, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our Safety and Environmental discipline, sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of applying statutory safety and environmental legislative methods to help clients attain and manage legislation compliance.
- A relevant qualification in a legal subject, such as law or environmental science.
- A recognized safety or environmental qualification is desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Self-motivation, with a logical and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility and a genuine enthusiasm to contribute to the growth of a successful business.
- A proactive approach to continual professional development, with a commitment to achieving professional qualifications and registration with relevant bodies.
