We are seeking a local Mechanical Systems Commissioning Lead to oversee operations on a biotech project.


Project Overview:
Our client is engaged in the construction of a state-of-the-art greenfield Bio-Pharma facility. The scope of work includes:

  • Mechanical piping and HVAC systems
  • Electrical and IT packages
  • Installation of production reactors and associated equipment
  • Installation of approximately 16,000 meters of piping across various specifications
  • Installation of around 22,000 square meters of ductwork

Our client, Euro Site Services Ltd, is a prominent engineering contracting firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, fire protection, and maintenance solutions for clients globally.


Leadership in Commissioning:
Take the lead in planning and executing the commissioning processes for mechanical systems. Collaborate with project teams to develop commissioning timelines and ensure the project is completed on schedule.


Testing and Calibration:
Perform thorough testing and calibration of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems (BAS) instrumentation, to confirm their operational efficiency and effectiveness.


Problem Identification and Resolution:
Detect and resolve any issues, discrepancies, or deficiencies that may occur during the commissioning phase. Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of commissioning activities, test outcomes, and system performance metrics. Prepare detailed commissioning reports for client review.


Client Engagement:
Maintain open communication with clients throughout the commissioning process, providing updates and addressing any inquiries to ensure satisfaction with the final outcomes.


Collaborative Efforts:
Work in close partnership with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth integration of mechanical systems within the overall project framework.


Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar management role, with a strong background in HVAC and piping systems, as well as experience in the pharmaceutical sector.


Work Schedule:
This position offers a negotiable day rate with a standard work schedule of 10-hour days, Monday through Friday. Please note that there is no accommodation allowance provided.
