Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class 2 Driver to join our team at Wincanton, a leading supply chain partner for British business. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to JD Sports locations in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver totes to JD Sports locations, ensuring loads are secured correctly and goods are delivered on time.
  • Offload goods in the correct manner, sign paperwork, and collect any agreed waste or totes.
  • Adhere to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service and take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
Requirements
  • Valid in-date Class 2 licence.
  • Valid in-date CPC.
  • Digital tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence.
  • Excellent customer-facing awareness skills.
  • Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
  • Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first-class customer service.
  • Good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
